Emotional Freedom Technique -EFT - 1

Emotional Freedom Technique
Have you heard of this? If this is the first time, then you might be among the very few left on this planet, hearing it for the first time!
EFT - or Emotional Freedom Technique is the buzz word these days. Just recently, there was an a week of audio symposium on a world summit of EFT with some of the "Masters" of this therapy, giving their presentations, based on their research, experience and practice.
Although Emotional Freedom Technique is categorized as Energy Psychology, it is part of Energy Medicine, too.

I have had some experience with EFT, but before I share them with you, I would invite anyone who experienced EFT or are using them in their practice to comment on their experiences, views and opinions. How many times do you have someone asking for your opinion? My topic for the next several posts will be on EFT?

I just found your blog and am looking forward to learning more about EFT. I've heard of it, but am more familiar with TFT (Thought Field Therapy) which also utilizes tapping, and have used the teachings in Robert Bray's book No Open Wounds to help deal with my stress issues and sleep problems.

I actually stumbled onto the methods of EFT while researching the Law of Attraction. I have tried it on myself with some short term results. Basically, I have brought up some old feelings that I tapped on and very much managed to neutralize some of those feelings. I was very skeptical and very surprised when I felt something. With that said, I seem to have a tough time being consistent with EFT. I would love to do it every time I have negative feelings or old paradigms arise, however, I tend to put it off until later and then I forget. Maybe I should tap on that one --- Procrastinating!

I am going to continue going through your EFT posts since I am sure they are very enlightening. Thanks for everything!
